To sync Companies House data with Silverfin, you need to first establish the connection between the two platforms. Follow the steps below to create the required API key. Once done, you can follow the linked article to complete the synchronisation process.
Steps to Create the API Key
- Access the Companies House portal at:
https://developer.company-information.service.gov.uk/manage-applications/add
- Enter a name and description for your application in the required fields. Make sure to select 'Live' as the environment for your application.
- Click ‘Create’ to generate your application.
- Select the application you have just created.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and select ‘Create new key.’
- On the next page, provide the required details and ensure to choose ‘REST’ as the API key.
