If you need to remove or edit the start date of the sync for a client, follow the steps below.

Removing the transfer date of the sync

  1. Go to the Client Overview page.
  2. Click Edit Client.
  3. Select the Sync tab and click Switch sync.
  4. On the next page, choose:
    • The second scenario if you want to switch off the sync completely.
    • The third synchronisation scenario if you want to sync the file without the transfer date.
Resetting the synchronisation will overwrite all existing ledgers in the file with new data. However, reconciliations, details, and reports will be preserved.

Editing the Sync transfer date

  1. Go to the Client Overview page.
  2. Click Edit Client.
  3. Select the Sync tab and click Switch Sync.
  4. On the next page, choose the first synchronisation scenario.
  5. You will be prompted to select a transfer date, which must align with the start of a fiscal year. Starting the synchronisation on any other date is not allowed.
