We aim to automate as many processes as possible to help you work more efficiently.
One example is the automatic population of the annual accounts based on data from the working papers.
This automated allocation relies on account ranges, using the official classifications defined by the National Bank of Belgium (NBB). These ranges are based on legally established codes, ensuring accurate and reliable data mapping.

Exceptions to the legal ranges
While most account linking is handled through these official ranges, there are some exceptions. Certain accounts fall outside the legally defined ranges but can still be automatically mapped through a configuration at office level.
This flexibility allows those accounts to be included in the appropriate sections of the annual accounts automatically, reducing the need for manual intervention.
Which sections can be configured?
Accounts can be added to the following sections of the annual accounts via configuration:
- 490/1 → accounts 490,491,495
- Via the configuration: {% assign range_490_1 = "490,491,495" %}
- 492/3 → accounts 492,493,497,498
- Via the configuration: {% assign range_492_3 = "492,493,497,498" %}
You can find the configuration, box for this at office level via Templates > Reconciliations.
In the configuration list, you'll find two templates under Checks and Controls (abbreviated model, micro and full model). You can add the configuration to both templates.
