This template is used to determine how the result for the financial year should be distributed across the relevant equity items.
Table of contents
What does the template do?
The Result appropriation financial statements template shows how the company's result is distributed, for example:
- addition to reserves,
- distribution to shareholders, partners or associates,
- or recognition as retained profit.
In many cases, this needs to be completed not only for the current year, but also for the previous financial year.
This is necessary because the profit appropriation proposal is not always automatically processed correctly in the bookkeeping.
The template helps you to document this processing correctly and completely for the annual accounts.

How to proceed
- Open the Result appropriation financial statements template.
- Complete the profit appropriation proposal for the current financial year.
- Check that the previous financial year has also been completed correctly.
- If amounts from earlier years do not correspond to the current legal form, move them to the correct sections.
- Check that the overview reconciles with the equity in the bookkeeping and in the annual accounts.
