This article explains how to set up the Companies House integration in Silverfin, which is required before you can submit the final iXBRL file.
To proceed with submission, you need to have the Companies House integration in place.
- As an admin user, navigate to https://integrations.getsilverfin.com, log in and authorise your firm.
- Select the Companies House integration.
- You can apply for a Companies House online filing presenter account and fill out the presenter ID and presenter authentication code, or you can leave these fields blank and use the default Silverfin presenter account.
This integration adds a link "Submit to Companies House" to Silverfin.
Each company has its own Company Authentication Code, which you enter when you submit the accounts - treat it like a password and store it securely.
