Read on how to customise cover and title page in the following article: How to personalise cover and title page to your exports?

Last page: Upload a last page to appear at the end of the export.

Header (PDF): Add logos or other elements to the header of exported pages.

2. Layout

Adjust how your exports look:

Font settings: Choose font type (e.g. Calibri), size (e.g. 10), colour (e.g. HEX code #0000FF for blue) and minimum font size for tables in reports.

Margins: Adjust margins if text is overflowing to the next page of your export.

Alignment of client logos: Position logos on the front cover (e.g. bottom-right).

  •  Logos are uploaded in the client file under Edit client > Configuration.

3. Reports and Charts

  • Adjust the colour palette used in reports.
  • Customise chart colours to match your company branding.

4. Liquid Code

  • Make advanced adjustments to text and details on the cover and title page, table of contents, header, footer, and more.
  • Be careful: Changes in this section can break your export style.
  • Only make updates if you are familiar with Liquid code.
  • If you are unsure, contact our support team at support@silverfin.com or post your question in the Silverfin Community  before making changes.

How to adjust style bundle blocks?

Once you have adjusted the style settings, you can decide which blocks should be included in the style bundle.

Drag and drop blocks: On the right side of the screen, you will see blocks representing accounts, reports, documents, texts, adjustments, and communication. Drag and drop these blocks to customise your bundle.

Accounts

  • Open the block to select the accounts and/or reconciliations you want to include.
  • Add title page, header and footer if needed.
  • Deselect the paperclip if you don't want to export the attachments.

Reports

  • Add multiple reports by dragging the report block over more than once.
  • Reports can be exported with original or mapped account numbers, or using a report template setup.
  • For some reports, there’s an option to include certain charts - simply check or uncheck these as needed.
  • You can also expand or collapse rows within a report.

 Documents

  • Drag multiple Document blocks if more texts are required.
  • Add title page, header and footer if needed.

Text

  • Drag multiple Text blocks if more texts are required.

  • Decide whether text should be included in the export even if it's not created in a client file.

Adjustments

  • Choose whether to export only internal adjustments, only external adjustments, or both.

  • Add title page, header and footer if needed.
  • Decide whether to display original account names and numbers (as per the bookkeeping system) in the export.

Communication

  • Add title page, header and footer if needed.
  • You can filter communications and export Notes, To-Dos, Open To-Do's or All.
  • You can also filter by a communication tag.

Cover Page and Table of Contents

  • When customising the export, you can include a cover page and a table of contents by checking or unchecking the relevant options.
  • You can add header and footer to a table of contents.

What is a default style?

  • The default style is the style automatically applied when creating an export in a client file.
  • It's assigned in the Advanced settings of the firm
  • A default style cannot be removed.
