In this article, you can find a handy overview of all accounting packages that synchronise with Silverfin.
We distinguish between data packages and administrative packages. Furthermore, these are divided into online syncs and on-premise syncs. Online syncs are packages that run via the cloud. On-premise syncs are packages that are stored on a local server. The way we connect to these different types of packages differs greatly.
Online/cloud:
Online packages are in the cloud and can be connected to Silverfin via a user in your office who has access to the files you want to sync. A cloud package is free to set up. For some packages you can make the connection yourself, for others you need our help. The most common online syncs can be found on our knowledge base. For further questions, you can contact Silverfin Support or your CSM.
On Premise:
In order to connect to an on-premise package, we need to install a syncing service on your server. To do this, we need the contact details of your IT partner, so that they can give us access. You can pass these on to your CSM. Your CSM can also inform you about the price of the sync.
SDK:
An SDK sync is also a kind of on-premise sync. The Silverfin SDK sync can read and sync export files, which must be created via the package itself, with Silverfin. SDK syncs also require installation on the server. If you want to connect to such a package, please pass on the contact details of your IT partner to your CSM. This is also a paid feature.
Overview synchronisations:
*Odoo On-Premise is possible, but is seen as an online synchronization in the Silverfin configuration. This does not require an extra sync service, unlike other On-Premise synchronizations.
