Why would you need to reconnect your automatic configured sync?
In some cases, the sync with the underlying bookkeeping system has been lost and needs to be renewed in order for your data to continue syncing with Silverfin. This may happen when the rights to access your data have accidentally been revoked, or that the connection became invalid after a certain amount of time.
No need to worry, your work will not be lost. You just need to re-establish the link.

For Xero, XeroTB, Quickbooks, E-conomic:
Step 1. Click 'Edit Client' button
Choose the "sync" tab and select "switch sync" button. Step 2. Select the third option if all data is in your sync. If it's with a start date now, choose option 1.Step 3. Complete the form by re-selecting the sync (i.e. the relevant bookkeeping system, e-conomic, Quickbooks, Xero, XeroTB)Step 4. Enter your credentials for the selected bookkeeping system to reset the synchronisation
After clicking the "Save Changes" button, you will be redirected to your bookkeeping system to log in. Once you have logged in, you will be returned to Silverfin.

For any other automatic configured sync
Step 1: Go to the sync page at firm level
Step 2: Click on the sync you need to reconnect. Example: ExactOnline, SageBusinessCloudAccounting,....
Step 3: Click on the reconnect button
Step 4: You will get redirected to the login page of the bookkeeping software. Login with the user that you want to connect. If you get redirected immediately, it means that you are already logged in to the bookkeeping system. Do you not want to use that user? Log out in the bookkeeping system first, then redo the steps. When you see the login-screen, you use the account that you want to connect.

Step 5: You have successfully reconnected your sync. All files that are connected will still work if the references within that login are the same.
