Here’s a quick guide on how to restore archived files in Silverfin. Keep in mind that only Silverfin staff can unarchive files, and admin approval is required for the process.

Who can restore archived files?
Archived files can only be restored by Silverfin staff. Regular users, including admin users within your firm, cannot unarchive files themselves.
Admin approval required
If you are not an admin user, you'll need to contact someone in your company who has admin rights. Admin approval is necessary for Silverfin to proceed with restoring the file. Once the admin user gives approval, Silverfin can restore the file.
Steps to Restore an Archived File
- For Non-Admin Users: Contact an admin user in your company to request file restoration. The admin user will need to approve the request for Silverfin to proceed.
- For Admin Users: Submit a request to Silverfin support, specifying which file needs to be restored.
