In this article, we explain how to forward emails to Silverfin's 'Documents' section, whether they include attachments or not. Each client has a unique email address for this purpose, allowing you to organize and store your emails efficiently.
Table of contents
Find the unique email address
- Each client file has a specific email address (per user) for forwarding documents. You can locate this address at the bottom of the 'Documents' section in Silverfin.
Forward emails without attachments
- To save only an email body, forward it to the unique email address provided. It will be stored in the 'Mails' folder.
Forward emails with attachments
- Only attachments: To store only the attachment, forward the email directly to the unique address. The attachment will be placed in the 'Mail Attachments' folder, and the email body will not be stored.
- Email body and attachments: Forward the email to the unique address and add the same address in CC, including yourself as well. Both the email body and the attachment will be saved in the 'Mails' folder.
The folders created in Silverfin are set to private by default, so they cannot be seen by Pulse users.
