The 'My Inbox' feature helps users quickly view and respond to messages where they are mentioned, streamlining communication management. Read on how it works at both the office and file levels.
Table of contents
My inbox at the office level
‘My Inbox’ provides an overview of messages across all client files, including:
- All self-written communications (i.e., notes and/or to-dos).
- All communications where the user was personally mentioned or mentioned with @internal/@external
- All communications from the files the user is following.
My inbox at the file level
‘My client Inbox’ allows you to efficiently see all communications within the specific file when you are personally mentioned or tag @internal/@external is used.
Key information
- Pulse users will only see communication if they are specifically mentioned (‘@pulseusername’) or @external is used.
- Internal communication is not visible for external contributors.
- Users can mention themself in a to do/note.
- Checking off a to-do does not trigger a new message in the inbox. A workaround is to leave a comment in addition to checking off the to-do to trigger a notification.
