In the Silverfin platform you have 2 different levels. On the one hand you have the company level where you can find different buttons to manage the general settings of all folders. On the other hand, you have the file level where you are in a specific file. In this article, we'll take a closer look at the company level.

How do I get access to the company level?

You can easily access the company level by clicking the "S" of Silverfin in the top left corner of the screenshot above.

What do the different company level buttons mean?

  • Users: here you will find an overview of all users in your Silverfin environment. If you click on this button, you will see a distinction between employees and external users. There are 2 different types of external users: Pulse users and external employees.
  • Pulse: here you can set various parameters that you can share with your customer via the Pulse. Want to know more about the Pulse? Check out the articles we have about it.
  • Styles: here you can determine at the admin level how your PDF exports should look like for your end customer.
  • Templates:here you will find an overview of all our templates that you use as an office
    • Client configurations: client types, workflows, workflow working screens, checklists, etc.
    • Reports: you can define the settings of reports via a report template. This can be adjusted later at the dossier level with an unlocked report.
    • Permanent texts: here you can consult all (legal) documents that are active in your environment.
    • Reconciliations: These are all templates that are used to reconcile multiple accounts together. Think, for example, of the explanation of fixed assets register, interest calculation, VAT balance,...
    • Account Templates: It is the account information that determines how the account should be explained. For example, you can enter different data for an 'invoices to be received' account than for a 'fixed assets' account.
  • Advanced: here you will find various admin settings such as: the name of your environment in Silverfin, the default language, the default style, the default account model,...
  • My inbox: here you will find all your personal communication.
  • Clients: via this button you will find an overview of all files that you as a user have access to in Silverfin
  • Triggers: you only see this button if the Insights module is activated in your environment. For more information about Insights, read our articles on this topic. To activate Insights, contact CSM
  • Syncs: here you will find the synchronizations made between your Silverfin environment and your accounting/CRM programs
  • Invoices: the office manager can view his Silverfin license invoices here (only visible to business managers)
