From time to time, it's beneficial to re-import your CRM data, such as at the start of a new tax return period. This ensures new clients are added to our platform and old ones can be removed if necessary before sending out your questionnaires again.

Before You Begin:
This article outlines how to synchronize client data from AdminPulse or Admin IS | Consult. Haven’t set up the link with your CRM program yet? Please read the article on setting up the connection first.
Importing from AdminPulse or Admin IS | Consult:
- Navigate to the Tax Returns module and select 'Clients'. Here, you'll see an overview of your client database.
- Click the 'Import Clients' button in the top right corner.
- Choose between importing via Excel or from Admin IS | Consult or AdminPulse.
- Select whether you want to retrieve all clients or just those from a specific workflow. Click 'Next'.
- The synchronization will begin, and you'll then see an overview of the imported clients and their status.
Client Overview:
- Clients only in import: These clients are only in Syneton and will be added to our platform. You can choose which clients to import after selecting a questionnaire.
- Clients only in Accounton: These clients are already in Accounton but not in Syneton. This can be checked for clients who may no longer be part of a workflow.
- Duplicate clients: Here you'll see clients in both Syneton and Accounton. This section shows any differences in (basic) fields, which you can update.
For duplicate clients, you may choose to overwrite them with import data. Select the fields you wish to overwrite. Non-overwritten fields will be greyed out and overwritten fields will be highlighted.
Validation and Invalid Clients:
Accounton validates the uploaded data. Clients with invalid data, such as an incorrect email address or national registration number, are listed under 'Invalid clients'. It's strongly recommended to import national registration numbers to facilitate synchronization with MyMinfin and Tax-On-Web.
Linking the Right Questionnaire:
Before clicking 'Add the selected clients to Accounton', first select the desired language and questionnaire in the 'Clients only in import' section. For Dutch-speaking clients, select 'Dutch' and 'Dutch tax return checklist'.
Sending Invitations:
Add the clients to your account. It’s advisable to leave the option 'Send email invitation immediately after import' unchecked. Clients will be added with the status 'Not Sent'. You can later determine when invitations will be sent.
Important: The questionnaires still need to be sent. You can review or complete the pre-filled data in the questionnaire before sending them.
