You can export client data in bulk from Accounton. This article explains the process step by step.

Step 1: Import an Excel File
- As the first step, you need to import an Excel file into Accounton. In this file, you add one fictitious client.
- This is necessary so that the system can generate all other clients who are in Accounton but not in the imported file. Based on this, an export of those specific clients can be generated.
How to import excel file?
- Go to the Personal Income Tax module and click on Customers.
- In the overview, click on Import customers or data in the top right corner, choose Excel file and click Next.
- You will now enter the environment where you can upload the Excel file.
- Download the template document: Click on 'Download template' to download the document and ensure you save it locally on your computer before working on it.
- Fill in the details of one fictitious client in the Excel file (see example below). Save the file.
- Click on 'Upload a file' and browse for the file on your computer.
Step 2: Export Clients Only in Accounton
- After importing, Accounton compares the imported data with the existing clients in the system. All clients that appear exclusively in Accounton (i.e., not in the import) are identified.
How to export excel file with clients' data?
- Choose a category 'Customers only in Accounton'.
- Click 'Export Excel'.
- Save the file locally on your computer.
